Arge TQ – The Austrian Sustainable Building Council developed a guide and rating system resulting in a certificate for the assessment of building quality.

Blue Angel – The Blue Angel is the ecolabel of the federal government of Germany and awarded to products that are environmentally friendlier than others serving the same use.
Bluesign – The Bluesign standard brings together the entire textile manufacturing chain to jointly reduce the ecological footprint of a responsibly acting textile industry.
BMP Certified Cotton – BMP is the Australian cotton industry’s guide for growing cotton in harmony with the natural environment, as well as a consumer guarantee.
BREEAM – BRE Environmental Assessment Method is an environmental assessment method for masterplanning projects, infrastructure and buildings around the world.
BRE Global Certified Environmental Profile – A method of identifying and assessing the environmental effects associated with building materials throughout their life cycles.
British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval – Endorsement scheme for a wide range of products which specifically restrict or remove high levels of allergens from the environment.
Certipur – CertiPUR-US tests home furnishings items, such as upholstered furniture and mattresses, for durability, content and indoor emissions.
CleanGredients – CleanGredients is the definitive database of market-ready chemical ingredients pre-approved to meet U.S. EPA’s Safer Choice standard.
COSMOS – Cosmetic Organic Standard is an Europe-wide private standard promoting the use of ingredients from organic farming and environmentally sound manufacturing processes in cosmetics.
Cradle to Cradle Certified(CM) Products Program – A third-party sustainability label that ensures safe and sustainable products designed for reutilization, such as recycling.
Danish Indoor Climate Label-Dansk Indeklima Mærkning – The Danish Indoor Climate Label is a tool for development and selection of indoor air quality friendly products.
Design for the Environment (DFE)/ Safer Choice – Uses US EPA’s chemical knowledge and resources to carefully evaluate products and label those that meet the standards.
ECMA-370 – The Eco Declaration – Specifies environmental attributes and measurement methods for ICT and CE products according to known regulations, standards and guidelines.
ECOproduct, Byggtjeneste – A method to choose environmentally friendly building materials and chemicals. ECOproduct database is operated by the Norwegian Building Centre.
EPEAT – Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) is a global rating system for greener electronics that rates products on a life cycle basis.
EWG VERIFIED – A third-party label from the Environmental Working Group that ensures products free from harmful chemicals.
EU Ecolabel – A voluntary scheme designed to encourage businesses to market products and services that are kinder to the environment and for consumers to easily identify them.
Global GreenTag Certified – A third party, green product rating and certification system, underpinned by scientific and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) processes.
Global Organic Textile Standard – GOTS is a worldwide textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria.
Good Environmental Choice “Bra Miljöval” – A sustainability label that focuses on widely used products and services that have a major impact on the environment.
Green Seal – Certifies thousands of products and services that meet science-based environmental standards that are credible and transparent.
GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals – GreenScreen is a method for chemical hazard assessment designed to identify chemicals of high concern and safer alternatives.
LEED – The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices.
Made Safe – A comprehensive human health-focused certification for non-toxic products from a US based non-profit.
Milieukeur: the Dutch environmental quality label – The Dutch environmental quality label for products and services. There are criteria for a wide variety of products and services.
National Organic Program (NOP) USDA – A regulatory program housed within the USDA, responsible for developing national standards for organically-produced agricultural products.
Natureplus – An international label of quality for sustainable building and accommodation products, tested for health, environmental-friendliness and functionality.
NATURTEXTIL Best – NATURTEXTIL Best is a holistic standard that values environmental and social criteria along the whole textile pruduction chain.
Nordic Ecolabel – The official ecolabel of the Nordic countries demonstrates that a product is a good environmental choice by use of strict environmental requirements.
OEKO-TEX – A globally uniform testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end products at all stages of production.
Prop 65, compliant – Proposition 65 protects California’s drinking water sources from being contaminated with chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm.
RoHS compliant – An EU directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
SMaRT Consensus Sustainable Product Standards – Sustainable Materials Rating Technology is a sustainability standard and label for building products, textile and flooring.
