Evaluated Alternative Sustainable flooring free from formaldehyde Bauwerk is breaking new ground with its Silente technology. Silente products are based on the Cradle to Cradle® design principle and it stands for a closed-loop recirculation cycle and rigorous quality assurance of the raw materials. Silente technology guarantees reduced footfall sound and optimum impact sound improvement. Two products created with the Silente technology is Bauwerk Multipark Silente and Cleverpark Silente, which consist of a 2-layer parquet. The surface is treated with natural oxidation-cured oil or treated with an acrylic lacquer that do not contain solvents or formaldehyde. The strips are made with high precision tongue and groove joints. They are installed exclusively with the bonding technique over suitable subfloors.
