It works on cotton, synthetics and blends to protect fabrics and garments from rain and water based stains. It is PFOS and PFOA free. Therefore providing an alternative to so called PFC based stain repellent products. It is partially based on plant seed oils and is a USDA certified bio based product.
Evaluated Alternative miDori® bioSoft CA1: C2C Platinum Level certified textile softener miDori® bioSoft CA1 is a plant seed oil based softener for cotton and cotton blends based textiles/garments. It provides an outstanding soft hand and can be applied without having to change any application, process parameters. The unique selection of raw materials used in its formulation allowed us to obtain the Cradle to Cradle Innovation Institutes Platinum Level Material Health Certificate. It too was screened and received certification under the so called Full Material Disclosure Program from Tox Services, a hazard based screen of all components used to formulate miDori® bioSoft CA1 on a CAS number level.

It uniquely adds an outstanding softness and wicking to cotton and cotton blend fabrics and garments. Thus adding performance to cotton, respectively giving cotton it natural ability back to absorb and manage moisture. It is a USDA certified biobased product and it was the first textile chemical to receive a Silver GreenScreen for safer chemicals certification. A 100% palm oil free version available as well.
Evaluated Alternative miDori® bioWick – plant seed oil based wicking finish for textiles miDori® bioWick is a plant seed oil based finishing agent for textiles. It helps the fabric to absorb sweat, wick moisture away and dry faster. Compared to standard crude oil based wicking finishes it has a significantly, up to 8 times, lower carbon footprint. It is highly biodegradable ( Zahn/Wellens Test), a USDA certified bio based product and all of its components, on a CAS number level, underwent a so called Greenscreen for safer chemicals.
