Scanfill BIO – Bio-based plastic material

Scanfill BIO is a bio-based plastic material made from sugarcane instead of oil. Scanfill BIO is based on renewable raw material, which makes it a more sustainable alternative with a lower environmental impact and reduced CO2 emissions. Scanfill BIO can be used for thermoforming, extrusion and injection. Scanfill Materials offers additional savings by increasing the production speed and making the energy consumption more efficient.

Scanfill Bio Sheet is the material used for thermoforming. Scanfill BIO Foil is the material used for extrusion and it can be extruded in to existing equipment thanks to its surface structure.  The granular materials used for injection moulding is called Scanfill BIO Injection. The Injection-materials are fully customized, to meet the needs and requirement of the customer as well as the tools.
