PFC-free food packaging tray

Rottneros Packaging has developed a food packaging tray made from high quality pulp. The tray is manufactured entirely with Swedish wooden raw material, and it is both recyclable, renewable and biodegradable. In addition to the environmental benefits, the potential for adapting design, patterns and functionality of the packaging is much greater than if plastic or board was used. The packaging is made from 100% virgin fiber pulp and is therefore free from chemicals such as mineral oil or PFAS.  

One single machine is used for all steps in the production process. The tools used in the process are handmade and customised in close relationship with a Swedish tool supplier with over 10 years of knowledge in moulded pulp technology. The automatic process and manual controls by educated employees gives you a high quality product in stability, shape, color and functionalit.
