Olivenleder® - Sustainable Leather

Summary

wet-green has developed a vegetable tanning agent for producing beautiful and healthy leather. The tanning agent is a vegetable concentrate based on olive leaf extract. The plant extract is free from metals and any chemically synthetic reactive tanning agents. It not only ensures maximum sustainability and consideration of all ecological aspects but also allows reduction of acids, salts, syntans and dyestuffs as compared to traditional tanning methods.

Description

The olive extract used for tanning Olivenleder® is a by-product of Mediterranean olive harvest. Olivenleder® offers the typically soft feel of nappa without compromising on firmness of grain. Its outstanding surface properties, its higher splitting yield and good dry shrinkage behaviour are all attributes our partners have come to appreciate. Olivenleder® leather products are suitable for all fields of industry, and are found in the form of premium quality aniline, semi-aniline and pigmented leathers.

  • Environmentally friendly.
